. Hilary
I made this film at the Royal College of Art in 1993. It is 9 minutes long and features the excellent voice of John Woodvine who was the doctor in An American Werewolf in London and Bob's dad in Bob and Rose which we thought was great but you probably didn't like because, let's face it, we're not really into the same stuff these days are we.

God, but it's taken me a long time to track this down.
Would just like to say thank you, Anthony, for one of the greatest short animations ever. Saw it once on TV when it was still new, and have had that music and that voice in my head ever since. Not, you know, obsessively. I can control it. It's very memorable, is all I'm saying.
Course, no-one knew back then that calling it Hilary would make it almost impossible to find on the Interweb in amongst all the hilarious Clinton-themed animations.
Anthony - it's taken me the best part of 14 years to track down this absolute *gem* of yours. Some friends and I stumbled upon this really late one night on Channel 4 back in 95 and I don't think it's ever really left my subconscious. Thanks to "Hilary", there are an embarrassingly large group of people I know for whom the word "bedtime", spoken in the right way, causes them to collapse in fits of giggles. Whether that was your intention or not, it happens.
Great to track down your work online - unfortunately I can't get the embedded Hilary video to play at all, on any browser. Subsequently i've gone and bought the DVD, although i'm disappointed that the money doesn't go anywhere near you.
So if you ever receive a twenty through the mail with the word "bedtime" written on it, don't be scared - it comes with love from a group of friends who will always be grateful for that particular 3am viewing.
All the best mate, and thanks again - Tony
Hello Tony
Glad you liked 'Hilary', and sorry the embedded movie was broken. I'm fixing it now.
Probably you will not see this because it would be strange for you to return to look at your own comment, and you did not leave an email address, but thank you anyway.
Anthony
Well thanks to the subscribe function, I made it back ;)
Thanks for fixing the Hilary link: got plenty of people itching to see it again so expect some spikes in web traffic v soon.
Cheers again
Tony
